This is such an important, a-ha, point. If I’m honest I often find myself in places where I’m being used AND using someone else in the same moment. And yes I realize all the approved words we have for this: networking being one that immediately comes to mind. But the insidious nature of it all makes it very difficult to tease out when we are carrying the ulterior motives and how they are being played out.
