A powerful story yesterday in our Durham newspaper about one of our Summer Institute participants, Rev. Martin Vuni of South Sudan:  his journey from trying to join the military, to being sent (by a military commander!) back to seminary, to now standing in the gap of intense conflict.  I am grateful for the unique gifts of the institute to create a space of renewal, theological reflection, and Christian community.
